AGLUTINANDO CONOCIMIENTO

PINGÜICA is an independent, self-managed and non-profit collaborative project in which artists and scientific researchers from different latitudes, contribute knowledge through the link between them. Actually we have 5 digital editions, 3 of which are printed. PingÜica's Objective is to promote analysis and reflection from the interdisciplinary where different ecosystems become the starting point for creation, i.e., artists perform an interpretation in different plastic-visual media from scientific texts, stories and tales, and as a result a digital and printed publication is generated.

As a result of the pandemic we generated outreach strategies such as online chats that have allowed a greater rapprochement between artists, scientists, poets, storytellers, making known the creative and methodological processes of each one. This has brought different audiences closer.

We are in a historical moment where the positive actions we take in relation to the environment will have repercussions in a few years, therefore, I am convinced that the issues we address in Pingüica are essential to know, understand and learn, so we can take care of the different ecosystems. The publications do not have the rigor of a scientific journal which makes it more friendly and digestible to any eye.
